What gives you inspiration?

I’m more inspired by moods and atmospheres than by things, movies or other pictures. It can be the mood of another rainy day, a house or the people I meet.

What are your influences?

For me it’s all about integrity, whether it’s a book, a person, a photograph or a song. My only real influence is my sister, not only in my photography but also in my entire life.

What does photography mean to you?

When I started taking pictures at the age of 16, it already felt like a natural thing, almost like something I had to do. I guess it’s a way to say the things I cannot say. I love the fact that everyone associates pictures differently, and that’s the the main reason I never name my pictures or explain them.
