What gives you inspiration?
Inspirations cascade if they impact. So there’re a lot of big and little things that set me to. Perhaps mostly it’s the difference between the world I see and the right I feel. It’s unforgivable the wrongs we accept.
What are your influences?
My heart is with Dorothea Lang but I’ve a touch of Diane Arbus’ fascination with the dark.
Why did you choose these photos?
Seemed appropriate.
What does photography mean to you?
Words, like numbers, tell any story you choose. Reason is dead. The world is polarized. People don’t listen to much these days from the outside. But images still hit home.
