What gives you inspiration?

The photography of Henri Cartier Bresson, Dan tobin Smith and Jacob Sutton. FFFFOUND as well as the masses of blogs full of interesting images. The cinematography of Robert Yeoman and most films in general.

What are your influences?

My friends, cities, cycling, design and contemporary art, video as well as many photographers. My film work is more about creating an alternate reality than trying to accurately capture a situation.

Why did you choose these photos?

I think the light works well in these. My synesthesia (a mixing of the senses) is the reason why I overlay light and add abstract elements and saturated colors to photos. This is through double exposure. The photos are an expression of this clash of vision, texture and sound, and how I perceive the world.

What does photography mean to you?

A career and an interesting way to document life.
