What gives you inspiration?
My inspiration comes from everything that my eye can see: light, shadows, shapes, color, etc.
What are your influences?
I am influenced a lot by other artist’s work (from all mediums, not just photography) but as well as other personal things like events in my life and my view on certain issues. Often times my photos are more a result of my surrounding and what happens naturally rather than me having a particular idea going into a shoot.
Why did you choose these photos?
I think the photos I chose will show the overall style of my body of work.
What does photography mean to you?
To me photography is a defining element of my life and is more or less the most influential part of my existence. I can’t go 5 min. without thinking of a picture I would like to take or finding the situation I am in “kind of like this one photo.” If I go a day without doing something involving photography I feel like my day has been wasted.
