Interview Andrew D. Musson
Photography means sharing the way I see the world with those around me.

Name: Andrew D. Musson
Hometown: Lafayette, Louisiana
Style of photography: Split between a structuralist approach, mostly when I use color, and something more haphazard and personal.

What gives you inspiration?
The way light falls on objects and people.
What are your influences?
Usually things and subjects outside the photo world. Like mythology and folklore, words and their origins, anthropology, dreams, great movies, space exploration, imagery from reading too much, and somehow these others all seep into my photographs.
Why did you choose these photos?
Because they are moments I love and want to share. Hopefully people look at them as much as I do.
What does photography mean to you?
Sharing the way I see the world with those around me, it’s a fine line between control and pure documentation for me.
