What gives you inspiration?

I find inspiration everywhere from friends, music, random books, magazines, overheard conversations, exhibitions, the internet - but often when I least expect it.

What are your influences?

Like everyone I have so many different layers of influences - some of my photographic influences would be people like Bruce Davidson, Gary Winograd, Li Wei, Chris Morris, Lartigue and Nadav Kandar and one of my favourite photos of all time is Tank Man by Stuart Franklin because it’s so symbolic and timeless.

Why did you choose these photos?

It’s tricky to just pick 4 images, but I think these sum up some of the projects I’ve worked on and they all have the same level of energy running through them.

What does photography mean to you?

To me photography is the best way to communicate a feeling and make people stop and think.
