What gives you inspiration?

Things that have settled into their precarious place in time. Crude beauty, unkempt and a bit wild.

What are your influences?

A reverence for the past is the thread that binds almost all of the things I enjoy most in life. I’m influenced by its mystery in music, books, art, nature, photography… the list goes on.

Why did you choose these photos?

I chose these photographs because I can come back to them again and again and they still trigger that emotional response I had upon their initial discovery.

What does photography mean to you?

The simple fact that a moment in time can be captured forever is magical. It has added a profound dimension to what I see and experience.
