What gives you inspiration?
Lived and consumed places and people give me inspiration. Also places connected to my childhood, countryside’s and trees. I like to find out the essence of things and give them a personal interpretation. I like to observe details through materials, colors and shapes, and the relationship between them. I like to discover signs in the city. I like to watch children’s behaviors and their attitude towards the world. Books and music opened my mind and give me a lot of imagination.
What are your influences?
My influences come from places, moods, writers and books (John Fante and Alessandro Baricco). Also music is a basic component of my life.
Why did you choose these photos?
I’m not good in taking decisions. I chose these photos because they are some of the most recent analog shots I like.
What does photography mean to you?
I need photography to read situations, moods and reality in my own way.
