What gives you inspiration?
I have a terrible case of wanderlust & traveling is my biggest inspiration. I have a subconscious list in my head of what I am looking for but I don’t know what it is until I see it. I am always watching & looking for moments & situations to present themselves.
What are your influences?
It is a generic answer but everything influences me, I try to be very equal in my appreciation of things & hold everything in the same regard. That being said, music & literature both play a huge role in my daily life. I am also part of a group called Empty Stretch, it is basically an excuse for my friends & I to share work & make books.
Why did you choose these photos?
I feel as though these photos most clearly define what I am doing currently. They express of sense of somewhere else yet don’t allow you the knowledge of where that is.
What does photography mean to you?
Photography for me is a catharsis of sorts. It is something I have yet to completely figure out but I have a perpetual need to photograph. It is my way of interacting with & responding to new environments that I continuously find myself in.
