What gives you inspiration?
Emotion, music, light, texture and morbidity.
What are your influences?
I think I am mostly influenced by artists and photographers like William Eggleston, Stephen Shore, Hedi Slimane and Olafur Eliasson. But fashion, architecture and design are also affecting my work.
Why did you choose these photos?
Three of them are from my last trip to China. They’re my favorites and reflect a specific mood I was in when I travelled a lot.
What does photography mean to you?
To me, photography is a great medium for reflecting emotions, situations or a specific atmosphere in a straight and pure way. It helps me to sort / remind images and memories.
