What gives you inspiration?
Inspiration is some type of new perspective that just punches me in the face. I become obsessive, learn as much as I can, and eventually start plugging new thoughts into my work. My primary places for being obsessive are either my schools expansive library of art books, art related websites, or just walking aimlessly and admiring the aesthetic of my current town, Savannah.
What are your influences?
I’m influenced most by people who do things truly differently but, also beautifully. A balance easier said then done.
Why did you choose these photos?
I chose these four photos because they have a blatant emotional quality to them along with unique characteristics. This hopefully allows the viewers to be impacted by these images regardless if I give context or not.
What does photography mean to you?
Photography means being able to follow a visualization of my transformation of perspective. I’m inevitably creating the most honest story possible of my life.
