What gives you inspiration?

Simple and basic life in nature, in villages, far from everything and the people who are living there.

What are your influences?

I was influenced by the American photography tradition. I love Nan Goldin, Diane Arbus as well as Alec Soth and Katy Grannan.

Why did you choose these photos?

I chose them because they are from my last series “In the clouds shadow”, that was shot in Georgia. And as every last series it is my favorite.

What does photography mean to you?

It’s the special way of living, that opens secret doors and people’s hearts.
